Cappuccino Cup by ForeverTuesday Cappuccino Cup by ForeverTuesday
...Some black slip (colored liquid clay) that I mixed up, painted on this dainty cup, and did a freeform carving.

It was thrown on the wheel using white stoneware clay and reduction fired up to cone 10 (high-fire).

It is also for sale: HERE!

Did you use copper oxide in the mix? Because it has that metal greenish tint. Great carving.

Thank you.

I am not sure about the copper content. I do not have the recipes on me right now. I used a slip put on the greenware(unfired clay) and a glaze over that. I'll check on it when I go to the studio and let you know. :)
